The bank won Best User/Customer Experience Initiative for Business at the Banking Tech Awards USA in New York — for the redesign my team and I had been carrying since 2024. Glitch Cult Festival, Zagreb
58 artists from 18 countries / 5 workshops / 4 lectures
The first Glitch Cult festival. I was on the organising committee and the jury — from the open call and the selection to four days of programme, with a members' exhibition alongside. The festival is independent and not affiliated with /'fu:bar/.

Glitchy Brain → Design Brain
2,000 searchable entries / 14 review agents / 7,045 links between entries
In April I started Glitchy Brain, my own system of AI agents for design work. In June a personal workbench grew out of it — Design Brain: layout critique against a rule base, specs for code, motion breakdowns. This timeline was assembled on it.

glitchy.ink 173 poems on the site / 212 on stihi.ru, 2012–2018 / 15,865 readers there
I gathered my poems on a site of their own, as visual objects in their own right. Before that they lived wherever they could: a district newspaper, a rap forum, stihi.ru, litprom. Now they have one home.

White label — and the system we now live on
8 colour schemes / 5 layouts / 30+ typefaces
I turned the bank's design system into a configurable one: a single product under different brands. A control panel with a live preview assembles a theme from colour schemes, layouts and typefaces; a plugin exports tokens into code. The bank itself now lives on it — and we rebuilt the type system and library on live production, without stopping releases.

Platform redesign, phase one
3 platforms
The first phase of the bank platform's redesign: web, iOS and Android at once — a structural rebuild, not a new skin. Two years later this work brought the bank an award.
He worked on complex modules such as money movement, account features, onboarding, and more.

Head of Design
team: from 1 to 4 designers / 3 grew from juniors
I took full ownership of design at the bank and built the team: most of its designers joined as juniors and grew up here. This role is what made the redesign of the entire platform possible a year later.
I've seen him first hand evolve into a true leader when it comes to UI/UX.

Wedding
Lena and I got married.
By a funny coincidence, a year before our own wedding I designed the MVP of a turnkey-wedding service, Two Rings: brand, venue catalogue, the couple's dashboard, mobile app. The project froze after the hypothesis tests — and its case I later illustrated with our wedding photos.

Arival Bank — Senior Product Designer
I joined Arival Bank — a digital bank for businesses, licensed in Puerto Rico and built for tech startups, digital companies and international trade. Some of the people building it are my fellow students from the computer science faculty: this is where the university line and the design line finally meet.
With Denis, it was always easy to directly say what you like and what you don't: he is more interested in the result than in his own emotions.

Metrocom — Senior Product Designer, contract
the only product designer from day one
A contract: a PDM system for a major oil-and-gas developer that controls and automates the key processes of capital construction. I shaped the concept with the stakeholders and we reached an MVP fast; some features I proposed shipped. Leaving, I handed the work to a designer I had trained myself.

Product designer in Moscow, on NeuroAfimall: navigation for Afimall City, the mall at the heart of Moscow City that links its towers, the metro and the Expocentre. I designed the smart screens and kiosks that guide people through the building and pass content to their phones, the map that ties them together, and a design system for it all.

Visual poems — the first glitch

I was in the founding line-up of Milkshake, a Voronezh promo group behind the Geocult party series — as a co-organiser and promoter. Each party had its own theme, from Equilibrium to Antiutopia. In the same years I worked the door at the clubs Dom, Nihilist and BKWSK.

VEPI — Graphic & UI Designer
Voronezh Institute of Economics and Lawevents for 1,000+ guests / 100+ staff
Designer in the institute's marketing department: website design and tech support, social media, print ads, the student magazine. In 2017 I fully reworked the brand identity; by the rector's reference, it stayed in use after I left. I also helped run the institute’s large joint events with the Voda entertainment complex and the club Aura.

Pavlovsk
first poems in print at 9
I grew up in Pavlovsk, in the Voronezh region, reading voraciously from the age of three — at six, a local newspaper wrote about it. At nine came my first publication: four poems in the district paper, two more in 2003. In June 2010 I finished school with a gold medal and started writing poetry in earnest.
